Lightning P11/T4 XL629 A&AEE Boscombe Down Gate Guardian . c/n 95050
The only remaining example of the T4. 2 seat trainer. Built 29/9/59 as the 2nd prototype P11, it was retained by English Electric and on 13/5/66 it was delivered to the Empire Test Pilots School (ETPS) at Boscombe Down, where it can still be seen as their Gate Guardian
