Prototype P1A built 4/8/54. Handling and Performance trials. Fitted with reheat and cambered wingleading edges, later involved in Firestreak trials with A&AEE. Became 7755M on 2/7/62 for ground insruction use, initialy at No. 8 School of Technical Training, Weeton, then No. 4 SoTT St Athan 1965. 71 MU early 66, to RAF Henlow 11/66, initialy in pseudo AFDS markings. Now preserved at the Aerospace Museum RAF Cosford
